Where did you meet?
Matt and I met online and we clicked immediately. Having both just moved to the Savannah area, we did not know many people yet and we both needed a "partner in crime" to enjoy the city with. We first met at Wild Wings Bar and Grill in City Market (real romantic, right?) and then explored River Street together. We stopped in at the Savannah Bee Company, and to this day the honey still reminds me of our first date! :) It proved to be a great match and here we are today, happy as ever!
How did he propose?
After I got home from Afghanistan, Matt told me he wanted to take me out for a romantic dinner at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. We have always wanted to have dinner there. For 3 weekends in a row, he asked me if I wanted to go to dinner, and I cancelled for various reaons. (I was too tired, we were unpacking, don't you just want to eat pizza in sweatpants????) FINALLY, on a Sunday night Matt insisted that we go to dinner. We got all dressed up and then had a DELICIOUS meal at the mansion. After, he asked me if I would like to take a walk through the park with him. We walked to what we now call "our fountain" and he pulled a ring out of his pocket. He said "I've loved you more and more every day since I met you, and I will continue to for the rest of my life." Then popped the question! Obviously, I said yes!! It was the happiest day of my life (so far)!

Savannah is where we met and fell in love!
Where do you reside now?
Bluffton, SC -- about 15 minutes outside of Savannah
Anything interesting or out of the ordinary you are including in your wedding day?
Matt and I are both in the military so we will be doing a full military wedding. Matthew is in the Army and is currently deployed in Afghanistan. I am in the Navy. My favorite part of the military wedding is the "saber arch" that we get to walk through after the ceremony :)
Everyone knows about the romantic ambience at Wild Wings ;) We can't wait to share in your big day!
