{real wedding} WEDNESDAY :: anita + steve, part 2 : ceremony + portraits.

welcome back to our second installment of anita + steve's lovely savannah wedding!

the bride floats into her ceremony...

after a traditional mass, the bride and groom are announced husband and wife!

everyone's favorite part: the groom gets to kiss his bride!

don't they look ecstatic? i love how big their smiles are!

the newlyweds!

after so many gorgeous portraits beneath the moss-laden oaks near whitefield chapel, the bride and groom headed downtown for a couple more photos closer to their reception space.

forsyth park's fountain makes a lovely photo op!

the couple shared one last kiss before hopping back in their vintage car and heading straight to their reception at the marshall house, which is next week's feature.

have a beautiful rest of your week, everyone!

XO,

jennifer

{real wedding} WEDNESDAY :: anita + steve, part 1 : getting ready + ceremony set-up.

 good afternoon, ladies & gentlemen!

today i have the pleasure of sharing the first installment of anita + steve's breathtakingly lovely ceremony at bethesda academy's whitefield chapel.

designed by our very own morgan of mge, this wedding oozes traditional beauty and is infused in every way with love.

enjoy!

her gown was so gorgeous - look at that train! this photo composition is spot-on, by the way. chia + hon, you two are geniuses.

again with the genius: these rings look so pretty against that blue background!

the bride's shoes are beyond fabulous. I wish I had a pair in red!

as the groom put some last touches on adjusting his tie...

the bride and her maid of honor {sister} laughed it up on their way to the ceremony!

and while morgan adjusted the groom's boutonniere one last time...

guests began to arrive! you can barely see them, but those things hanging on the chapel doors? they're the bride and groom's initials in moss letters!

in addition to the moss letters adorning the chapel, guests were also treated to this lovely wreath. fabulous job, a to zinnias!

 oh, isn't whitefield chapel so lovely? the wreaths, altar arrangements and pew markers were just the right touch against the rustic wooden pews and the brick floor.

simple, traditional and accented in a gorgeous shade of blue, the ceremony programs enhanced the day's theme of understated elegance.

mixed-height candle groupings cast the altar in a reverent glow.

this color palette is simply fabulous against the white wood surrounding the altar area. the greenery is especially nice, I think!

a close-up of the very pretty pew markers - I especially like the ribbon!

this sweet flower girl wanted to be just like the bride - I am convinced that all of the best flower girl dresses are poufy and white.

and now I shall leave you in suspense of next week's installment with a portrait of the beautiful bride as she anticipates floating into her ceremony... ;)

Real Savannah Wedding: Heather and Dale Part 1-Ceremony

Savannah Wedding chapel

Heather and Dale married on June 5th with a beautiful Savannah Wedding in one of my favorite chapels! These two were just so easy going and so very much in love! Plus they did one of my favorite things ever…”THE FIRST LOOK” before the ceremony. I just love the boys khaki suits and the bold green colors of the bridesmaid dresses. Peach and shades of orange with green and ivory were the main colors. Kiwifleur did an amazing job with the flowers and I just adore the stationary suite we came up with Jennifer Borkowski Designs. Take a look at the cute programs! Thank you to Nicole Williams of Memories for Keepsake for documenting the day and sharing the images with us!

Stay tuned tomorrow for the Portraits!

Susan and Eric-A Fall Savannah Wedding Part 1-Ceremony

Susan and Eric Savannah Weddings On November 1st, 2009 on an perfect fall day in Savannah , Susan and Eric were married in one of the most intimate and beautiful wedding ceremonies we have ever had the privilege of witnessing. Susan and Eric came to me only 6 months ago with only a general color scheme and no vendors booked. Susan and Eric put their utmost trust in my recommendations and ideas, which resulted in us being able to put together one of the most beautiful weddings I have had the pleasure of coordinating. We focused on the fall colors of burnt oranges, reds, deep greens and infused elements from nature. Susan wanted elegant, timeless and subtle touches of exotic when it came to the decor. The laid back and charismatic personalities these two shared, made my job such a breeze and one couple that I will never forget. They were truly every wedding planner and vendor’s dream couple. Donna of DVB Photo did an exceptional job of capturing the essence of the day and showed the love these two shared for each other, friends and family. Thank you for the incredible images. And who other than our love Vicki of Kiwifleur, whose talent and ability to mesh together our ideas and bring them to fruition was astounding. She did a remarkable job. Wait until tomorrow when you see the reception! Lighting, details, lush decor and elegant linens made their reception just breath-taking.
