Real Savannah Wedding: Desirae and JB Part 1-Ceremony

Desirae and JB were both deployed overseas until just about a month prior to their wedding. You can only imagine how tough it is not only being engaged but apart from you loved one, planning a wedding from a combat zone and cutting it so close to the day you were to marry! Desirae and JB did an amazing job fairing through all of that and what an incredible day it turned out to be. They got married in the local Universal Unitarian Church on a sunny and warm Friday in Savannah. Desirae was a shining example of sheer elegance and beauty and we loved her retro glam look! Her style is yummy!!!! Tomorrow Part 2-Portraits

Savannah Wedding: Brittany and Jason Part 1 Prep, First Look and Ceremony

Savannah Wedding (11)

Brittany and Jason got married on July 24th in one of Savannah’s most amazing churches, St. John the Baptist's Cathedral, and it was truly breathtaking. The cathedral itself is such an awe-inspiring place and really sets the scene for such an occasion. AND they did one of my favorite things…saw each other before the ceremony in a “first look” so to speak! They strolled around the streets and squares of Savannah for a while taking pictures before they headed to the cathedral to get married!  Openlight Studio was there to capture each and every moment.

Tune in tomorrow for Part 2-The reception.

Real Savannah Wedding: Amy and Sam tie the knot

May 22, 2010, Amy and Sam married in beautiful downtown Savannah, GA. The couple always dreamed of a Savannah wedding and on that day-surrounded by about 275 of their closest friends and family they tied the knot. The wedding took place at the Wesley Monumental Church and the reception at the Hilton Desoto. With one of the biggest bridal parties we have seen to date…they made sure this was going to be a wedding never to forget! We just loved the amazing chair wreaths for the happy couples chair and the sleek look of the enormous wedding cake! When it was time to call it a night, the couple was showered in bubbles on the way to their horse and carriage! Thanks to TG Martin for the images of the day and for sharing them with us! We truly enjoyed celebrating in your day Amy and Sam!
