Where did you meet?

We both went to college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My sorority and his fraternity were homecoming buddies one year, and we met while I was painting a poster at his fraternity house. We became friends but didn't start dating until about six months later.

How did he propose?

We went to Seaside, Florida with my parents and sister for a week. We went to take a walk on the beach our second night there and he proposed! It was perfect!

When is your wedding date?

June 05, 2010

Why did you pick the area you are getting married in?

I had been to Savannah before when I was in high school and ever since I had thought it was one of the most beautiful places! When Dale and I were discussing the wedding, we decided we would like a smaller destination wedding, but it had to be close enough for all our families to come. I was looking in a bridal magazine that had a destination wedding in Savannah pictured and I thought it would be perfect for us!

Where do you reside now?

I am living in St. Louis, Missouri finishing up chiropractic school and Dale is in my hometown of Camden, Tennessee working as an English teacher. I plan on moving back to Camden in December when I graduate and begin working in the Camden Chiropractic Clinic.

Anything interesting or out of the ordinary you are including in your wedding day?

We are having the ceremony at Bethesda Chapel and the reception at the Harper Fowlkes House. We are so excited about having our wedding and reception at such historic and beautiful places!

Anything else you would like to add?

We are so excited to be having our wedding in Savannah! I was a little nervous about having a wedding from so far away, but Morgan has been such a wonderful planner and we are so happy we found her! We can't wait for the big day!
