{tips & tricks} TUESDAY :: writing your ceremony.

Pin It
the focus of most wedding blogs these days always seems to be centered around one thing: design.

while design is certainly an important {and my favorite as a coordinator} part of making a bride and groom's big day truly meaningful and unique to them, family and friends are not gathered together just to witness an impeccably decorated party {though they obviously want to celebrate}.

no, no, no - everyone joins together to witness the union of two people into holy matrimony - duh!

this may sound like common sense, but it is an element that unfortunately gets overlooked all too often.

ergo - if you're not super traditional and
have some leeway so far as this goes - why not spend some time writing a special wedding ceremony that celebrates your unique love story?

my favorite wedding site has an excellent tutorial on how to do this, with equally fabulous advice down in the comments - click here to check it out!

and pssst... yes, these pictures are from bridget and mychal's beautiful wedding ceremony, the same sweet couple whose guestbook we featured on the blog yesterday!

aren't they gorgeous?

have a fabulous rest of your tuesday, y'all.

XO,

jennifer
