i do so hope that you missed my absence in the bloggy world over the past two-and-a-half weeks. i was stuck at ft. pickett, virginia completing my national guard summer training - believe me when i say i'm ecstatic to have rejoined the real world, soggy though it may be.
in any case, i've returned just in time for my favorite holiday - the Fourth of July! why is Independence Day the best, you ask? a few reasons stick out in my mind...
{} the chance to celebrate all things America. {and randomly shouting 'murica! at passerby}
{} patriotic, fruity, delicious popsicles - possibly some boozy for the 21+ crowd;)

{} BURGERS. {all-beef} HOT DOGS. essentially any protein that you can grill. mmmm...
{} american beverages like bourbon. and beer. particularly if the latter comes in a little american flag-wrapped can.
{} red nails + red sundresses = amurrican AND adorable.
{} FIREWORKS.
