Where did you meet?

Mike went to law school with Jen's best friend's older brother. We hung out a few times in the fall of 2002 and talked for hours at a time until we finally went on our first date on January 11, 2003. 

How did he propose?

We went to a concert at a small venue in New York for a band called the Old 97's. The band sings a song called "The Question," which tells the story of a man proposing to his girlfriend. Mike knows it's one of Jen's favorite songs and so he proposed while the band was playing it.

When is your wedding date?

September 4, 2011

Why did you pick the area you are getting married in?

The Ford Plantation is one of our favorite places in the world. Being from New York City, it's wonderful to go down to Savannah and spend 90% of our time outdoors; whether it be playing golf, taking our dog on long walks along the horse trails, or driving into town to walk around and see the sights. When we are there, we feel completely relaxed and far away from anything that stresses us out. We want all of our friends and family to know how special it is to us, so we want to host them in the best way possible.

Where do you reside now?

New York, NY

Anything interesting or out of the ordinary you are including in your wedding day?

We would love our dog Albert to walk down the aisle, but it may just be that he and our rabbit Mrs. Sniffles are only included in the photos.
