{tips & tricks} TUESDAY :: food stations/family-style reception.

ladies & gentlemen, 

what do you do when you don't want to do a plated dinner for your reception {either because your event isn't super formal, or perhaps because you don't want to strain your timeline with a drawn-out dinner} but a buffet doesn't quite fit your expectations either? 

food stations {and/or family-style serving dishes} to the rescue! 

start out with something like...

a biscuit bar

move along to an easily passable main course like...

roast chicken or turkey {pre-carved}

  1. This sounds like a unique wedding reception set-up. I have been used to seeing traditional plated and buffet styles on weddings. This kind of set up is something new to me. My cousin just got engaged and i will be sharing this blog to her.
