{make it your own} MONDAY :: the gentleman's edition.

Pin It
gentlemen,

this one is for you.

with the introduction of pinterest, wildly popular wedding blogs, and elevated standards for entering into holy matrimony these days, you all are likely feeling pressured to make your part of the process - the proposal - just as perfectly unique as the ones your lady is constantly pinning to her virtual "someday" wedding board.

luckily, there is now a solution geared specifically for your demographic, guys. elizabeth carter {check out her interview here} launched bespoke proposals in 2012 with the express purpose of relieving pressure from proposing men while ensuring that more ladies get the romantic and personalized proposal of their dreams.

according to their website,

"bespoke proposals was founded on the belief that a marriage proposal should be created with a passion for romance, be centered on exclusivity, and obsess over the details."

now, as planners, you know we love details. we have actually gotten the chance to share in a few proposals ourselves {like jason's proposal to katie, whose wedding was featured here - ask alysse for the details some time!} and just love when our brides + grooms have sweet stories to share.

so, gentlemen: once you've found the perfect ring for your future wife {like the gorgeous sparkler featured above}, don't be afraid to ask for help in crafting an equally perfect proposal!

whether you want to invest in a service like bespoke proposals or simply ask your future planner {ahem} for advice, you have plenty of options and willing fellow-schemers at your disposal;)

XO,

jennifer
