Where did you meet? It was Easter of 2010 when we met at an Easter brunch for people who could not go home for Easter. Stacey, a friend from church, hosted the brunch at her apartment where we sang worship songs and discussed different devotionals. Everyone was divided into different groups based on where they were sitting and luckily we were sitting in close proximity :)
How did he propose?
We decided to spend Christmas 2011 in Oregon because my sister's boyfriend is from Portland and Garrett's family lives in Eugene and Corvallis. We drove up to Eugene and spent Christmas Eve there with his dad and then drove to Portland on Christmas day, where we had an awesome Christmas with my family and my sister's boyfriend's family. The next day we went wine tasting at Adelsheim and Bergstrom in the beautiful Oregon wine country in the Willamette Valley. Garrett surprised me with a stay at the beautiful Allison Inn and Spa. After dinner, once we returned to our lovely suite, he got down on one knee and asked me the sweetest question ever, " Will you marry me?" I said "of course!"

Why did you pick the area you are getting married in?
Garrett was born in Atlanta Georgia and lived there until he was 6 and I moved from Los Angeles, CA to Atlanta, Georgia when I was 10. I LOVE Georgia and it will always hold a special place in my heart. In 2011, Garrett and I went on a southern tour to Atlanta, Savannah, Hilton Head and Charleston and we loved every minute of it. For both of us, Savannah was such a beautiful city, full of romance and great food. Once we decided to get married in Georgia it was an easy choice to get married in Savannah.
Where do you reside now?
Palo Alto, CA
Anything interesting or out of the ordinary you are including in your
wedding day?
Also, the bridesmaids will be carrying fans instead of bouquets and we are planning our reception to be a plated family style meal to inspire the feeling of a nice family dinner and celebration.
Anything else you would like to add?
This picture is from our first date at the Rascal Flatts Concert. I just want to say that Garrett is such an amazing man. He is honorable, loyal, loving, compassionate and funny. I know that I am truly Blessed to have his love and support. We are SO looking forward to our Southern wedding!!!
