Melissa and Jeff-Real Savannah Wedding-Part 1 Ceremony

Kehoe House Wedding

Melissa and Jeff were married on November 14th on a sunny and breezy day, which just happened to be in between some of our worst days of rain. The Davenport House Museum was the site of this intimate ceremony. Melissa’s colors of blue, yellow and green were perfect for this setting. From flowers and candles floating in the garden’s pond, splashes of colors inserted into the already existing topiaries and arch that framed where this couple wed, to the pops of yellow and ivories in her bouquet against her dress and the lush greenery of the garden. Melissa designed the fabulous ceremony programs and to keep with the Savannah/Tybee feel, they were kept in their place on each guests chair with a white starfish. One of my favorite details was the adorable stuffed alligator the ring bearer carried the rings down the aisle on. Nate and Laura of Openlight Studio didn’t miss a thing! They did an outstanding job of making sure each minute of this day was documented with their outstanding photography. Check out their blog for MANY more images…and check back here tomorrow for part 2-the reception. You’ll love the eclectic look of the tables and decor!
