Real Hilton Head Wedding: Sonia and Matthew Part 3-Reception

How adorable are these two? There are so many fun details to mention. From the moss covered letters that adorned the doors to the reception room, the cute finger print guestbook, the windowpane with burlap pieces to let guests know where their seats where, pear place cards with beautiful calligraphy sat on DIY napkins and a pretty elaborate dessert table was the center of attention. If you look closely you can see that the toppers to each cupcake were stamped with their monogram. The guests were given burlap covered saplings to plant in honor of Sonia and Matthew. We loved seeing guests use the photo booth props--talk about some great laughs! The best part was that these two were on the dance floor all night long--not to mention the bride did a wardrobe change just for the occasion! LOVE HER tea length dress and it really showed off those amazing shoes.  I always tell my couple--if you are dancing--then your guests will follow the lead! To say that her guests had some amazing moves would be an understatement! To end the night, guests lined up with sparklers to send the happy couple on their way. All our love and best wishes to Sonia and Matthew. It was truly an honor sharing in your planning and day.

xoxo

Real Savannah Wedding: Kristine and Kent Part 3-Reception

And what you all have been waiting for…the reception images of Kristine and Kent’s Savannah Wedding! (Thank you W. Scott Chester Photography) Where do we start? Guests went into the home for cocktail hour while we turned over the backyard. They then found their seats from the listing of tables in the lemon crates and the corresponding DIY book numbers that the bride’s father made! SUPER CUTE! The feel they were going for was a laid back, backyard feel. We achieved this with burlap runners, long communal tables, rolled silverware, gave height to the vases by placing them on fabric covered books, and the centerpieces were of various shades of green and blue that blended with the garden landscape making the space one cohesive unit. Kristine and Kent loved unusual and unique items and their details were no exception. For their guestbook, they found this wooden slab on etsy that was personalized for their wedding, that guests signed. Their favors were cd’s of their favorite music, they had adorable wooden people cake toppers that resembled them and their attire (also from etsy) and they had a photostring display of their fondest memories from their lives thus far. There was no shortage of laughter, tears or dancing. This couple truly celebrated what a marriage is meant to be and despite some none to desirable weather on and off...they never missed a beat! All the best to Kristine and Kent! We loved every minute we got to spend with you two and your loved ones.
