with favors that say “Savannah”

Because of its charm, many couples like to highlight why they picked Savannah to be the site of their wedding. Many of your guests have probably not had the chance to visit and fall in love with our town…so why not help them experience “Savannah”  throughout your wedding.

Byrd Cookie Company is a true Savannah favorite. The company has been a Savannah tradition since 1924, when Ben T. Byrd, Sr. began making cookies by hand, packing them in wooden boxes and delivering them in a Model-T Ford to Savannah stores. Think of a flavor…and they have it!

My favorite……

Georgia Peach Cookies

As deliciously Southern as a fresh Georgia peach. These delicate, bite-size cookies are reminiscent of the tangy goodness of a tree-ripened peach and the rich flavor of sweet cream.

For wedding favors they can personalized a cookie tin filled with your favorite flavors. A minimum order of 100 is required and the prices start at $10.95 a tin.

From honey to body cream,Savannah Bee Company has been featured nationwide for producing some of the most incredible honey and honey based products. Your guests would love anything from this company!

Old Town Tours

You can reserve a private trolley for your guests to expereince Savannah’s stunning natural beauty, magnificent architecture, fascinating history and warm southern hospitality. With its quaint country squares and many areas of historic interest there is much to see and do in Georgia’s first city.   A trolley tour allows your guests to see the best of Savannah within a limited amount of time and is a great alternative to the traditional favors!

Lastly,  two local gals started Two Smart Cookies  in 2003 and have been taking over Savannah’s cookie scene since!  Their cookies have been featured in Southern Living, Country Living, Cooking with Paula Deen and the Savannah Morning News. Annette and Amanda will appeared on  "Paula's Best Dishes" in 2008. Their cookies are just mouthwatering goodness! Any shape, flavor, and design…they can do it! They will even package and monogram them for you!
